Terms of Return Policy
Eligibility
This return policy applies to courses purchased directly from DataVanta. To be eligible for a return, the purchaser must initiate the request within the stipulated return window from the original purchase date. This policy is applicable for individual course purchases as well as team programs.
Return Window
A return request for any course must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the purchase date. Due to the digital nature of our educational content, requests received after this period may not be considered.
Item Condition Requirements
For a course to be eligible for a return, the course content must not have been substantially accessed or completed. "Substantially accessed" generally refers to the consumption of more than 10-15% of the course material or completion of key modules, as monitored by DataVanta's internal tracking systems. User progress logs may be reviewed to assess eligibility.
Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us directly via email at jobs@datavantaio.com . You may be required to provide your purchase details, including the order number and the email address used for the purchase. Our team may review your request and course access history before processing.
Refunds
Approved refunds will typically be processed to the original payment method within approximately 5-10 business days after approval. The timing of the credit appearing on your statement may vary based on your bank or payment provider. Partial refunds may be issued if a significant but not complete portion of the course was accessed, at the discretion of DataVanta. All refunds are subject to final approval by DataVanta and may take several business days to process.
Exchanges
DataVanta generally does not offer direct exchanges for courses. If you wish to switch to a different course, you may be required to follow the return process for your original purchase and then make a new purchase for the desired course.
Non-Returnable Items
Courses that have been fully completed, extensively accessed beyond the permissible threshold, or explicitly marked as non-returnable at the point of sale are not eligible for a refund. This may also include courses acquired through special promotions or bundles where returns are restricted.
Shipping & Return Costs
As DataVanta provides digital educational content, there are no physical shipping or return costs associated with our offerings. However, any non-recoverable transaction processing fees incurred by DataVanta during the initial purchase or refund process may be deducted from the refund amount.
Damaged or Defective Items
Should you encounter technical issues preventing proper access or functionality of a purchased course, please contact us immediately. DataVanta may work to resolve the issue, provide alternative access, or offer a refund if the problem cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
Proof of Purchase
All return requests must be accompanied by valid proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation email or a transaction ID. Failure to provide sufficient proof may result in the denial of your return request.
Restocking Fees
DataVanta reserves the right to apply an administrative or processing fee, which may be up to 15% of the course price, for returns that require significant administrative effort, particularly if a noticeable portion of the course content has been accessed prior to the return request.
International Returns
For customers outside of Canada, all refunds will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of refund. DataVanta is not responsible for any currency fluctuations, foreign transaction fees, or bank charges that may be applied by your bank.
Abuse & Fraud Prevention
DataVanta reserves the right to refuse returns or service to individuals who exhibit a pattern of repeated returns, misuse the return policy, or are suspected of fraudulent activity. Such actions may lead to restrictions on future purchases.
Changes to Policy
DataVanta may update or modify this Terms of Return Policy periodically. Changes become effective upon their posting on the DataVanta website. It is advisable to review this policy regularly. DataVanta reserves the right to modify this Terms of Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
